Christmas Greetings..My apologies

Hey everyone,

I want to take this opportunity to apologize for not having updated this blog for a while. As we all know, life gets in the way of our goals and passions at times. This has been one of those times. I am working on some material for this blog for the upcoming year 2010. So coming January 2010 I'll have new posts on this blog at the very least weekly. (Ideally I'd like to post daily or at least 2 to 3 times a week, but I'll try to post at least once a week, as time permits.)

So until the new year, which I pray will be filled with health, blessings, favor, God's glory shining on your life, your dreams coming to past, etc, I extend a very Merry Christmas season to one and all.

God bless...

$5 promotion for the rest of 2009

Hey everyone,

Imagine, if you will, that someone was promoting your business(es) for you at least once a week, every week, on at least 4 different sites.

Sounds great doesn't it. How much would you pay for a service like that? $100? $200? $300?

Well, from now until December 31, 2009 (midnight Eastern Standard Time), you can have ME promoting YOUR business(es) at least once a week, every week.

That's at least 5 months of ME promoting YOUR business(es) on at least 4 different sites, every week.

Again I ask, how much would you pay for such a service? $400? $500?

Well, for the insanely low price of $5 (yes you read that right - a one-time payment of US$5), that's exactly what I'll be doing for you.

OR

If you'd prefer to be doing the promoting yourself on MY sites, then it's ONLY $10.

So for $5 you can have me doing the promoting for you, or for $10 you can do the promoting yourself. Your choice.

For the $5 offer, please press the button below:

For the $10 offer, please press the button below:

God bless...

Special Promotion for the Month of July

Hi everyone,

For the entire month of July (1st to 31st) my business The Million Dollar Experiment, a blog where I document my journey to making $1,000,000 online, is being featured on the MegaMillion Social Network for Millionaires.

Once again I'd like to thank Laura Reeves (creator and owner of MegaMillion) for featuring my business this month.

As a special promotion, I'm offering anyone the opportunity to promote their business(es) on my Million Dollar Experiment (MDE) blog, for the rest of this year. That's right I said the rest of this year.

For a one time payment of US$60 via paypal, or monthly payments of US$10 for 6 months ($1 for the 1st week), you can have your business(es) promoted on my MDE blog as well as 3 other blogs I own.

For a measly US$60 one time payment or monthly payments of US$10 for 6 months via paypal, you can promote your business(es) on all 4 of my blogs for the rest of 2009. That's 6 months of me posting about your business(es) to my 4 blogs.

Once I've received the one time payment of US$60 or your US$1 for the 1st week via paypal I'll email you to have you email me the information you'd like me to post on my blogs about your business(es). For our mutual benefit, I suggest you write what you'd like me to write about your business(es) as if you were the one posting this info to my blogs. If I need to I'll edit it to fit the guidelines.

This is a special promotion that I'm running ONLY for the month of July, while my business (the MDE blog) is being featured on MegaMillion.

So hurry and take me up on this insane offer before the month ends.

UPDATE:

The offer is still valid with a few minor changes. Instead of paying $60 or the trial $1 then a monthly fee, I've decided to lower the price to a ridiculous one time payment of $5.

For the rest of 2009, you can have me promoting your business(es) on all 4 of my blogs for one payment of $5. This offer is only valid until Thursday, December 31, 2009.

God bless...

Goal(s) for June 2009

Hi everyone,

Last month I shared some of my May goals in the MorningCoach.com (MC) community and also here with my blog readers/followers. This month I'll share some of my June goals with you.

1) First and foremost, to KEEP giving God the glory and the honor and the praise daily, not just in MC but in all my daily activities both online and offline.

2) Secondly, to KEEP praying daily for my family, my friends, world leaders, church leaders, spiritual leaders, business leaders, etc (basically anyone who needs prayers which basically means everyone.)

3) Thirdly, to KEEP writing/posting stories. Over the past few weeks I have dropped off with this goal in particular but I think I can maintain writing/posting at least 1 story (whether christian/non-christian/fanfiction) a week each week.

There are a few more goals that I posted in MC. I just wanted to share a few of my goals for June 2009 with my blog readers/followers. What I try to do is update my progress daily or weekly (pretty much when I have time to, which I factor in to my day as much as I can). I do this on MC so as to keep my MC friends and encouragers informed of my progress. Feel free to visit MC (and sign up if you're not a member yet) and check out the forums for my post: Goal(s) for June 2009. (FYI: my username in MC is rjcharley.christianwriter - feel free to add me as a friend)

Well that's all from me for the time being. Can't wait to be privied to some of your goals for this coming month (or week, or year or however you set your goals). I'd love to help keep you encouraged on your path to fulfillment. It would be an honor and a privilege.

God bless...

MJ

In God We Trust: A Reminder from a Penny

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, on my CIB blog, I shared a story I came across entitled "God's Coffee". It's an inspirational story about life. I encourage you to go and take a look at it when you have a chance. Today I'd like to share on this blog, another story I came across entitled "Pennies".

Pennies

You always hear the usual stories of pennies on the sidewalk being good luck, gifts from angels, etc. This is the first time I've ever heard this twist on the story. Gives you something to think about.

Several years ago, a friend of mine and her husband were invited to spend the weekend at the husband's employer's home. My friend, Arlene, was nervous about th e weekend.. The boss was very wealthy, with a fine home on the waterway, and cars costing more than her house.

The first day and evening went well, and Arlene was delighted to have this rare glimpse into how the very wealthy live. The husband's employer was quite generous as a host, and took them to the finest restaurants. Arlene knew she would never have the opportunity to indulge in this kind of extravagance again, so was enjoying herself immensely.

As the three of them were about to enter an exclusive restaurant that evening, the boss was walking slightly ahead of Arlene and her husband. He stopped suddenly, looking down on the pavement for a long, silent moment..

Arlene wondered if she was supposed to pass him. There was nothing on the ground except a single darkened penny that someone had dropped, and a few cigarette butts. Still silent, the man reached down and picked up the penny.

He held it up and smiled, then put it in his pock et as if he had found a great treasure. How absurd! What need did this man have for a single penny? Why would he even take the time to stop and pick it up?

Throughout dinner, the entire scene nagged at her. Finally, she could stand it no longer. She casually mentioned that her daughter once had a coin collection, and asked if the penny he had found had been of some value.

A smile crept across the man's face as he reached into his pocket for the penny and held it out for her to see. She had seen many pennies before! What was the point of this?

'Look at it.' He said. 'Read what it says.' She read the words

' United States of America ' 'No, not that; read further.' 'One cent?'

'No, keep reading.' 'In God we Trust?'

'Yes!'

'And?'

'And if I trust in God, the name of God is holy, even on a coin. Whenever I find a coin, I see that inscription. It is written on every single United States coin, but we never seem to notice it! God drops a message right in front of me telling me to trust Him? Who am I to pass it by? When I see a coin, I pray, I stop to see if my trust IS in God at that moment. I pick the coin up as a response to God; that I do trust in Him. For a short time, at least, I cherish it as if it were gold. I think it is God's way of starting a conversation with me. Lucky for me, God is patient and pennies are plentiful!

When I was out shopping today, I found a penny on the sidewalk. I stopped and picked it up, and realized that I had been worrying and fretting in my mind about things I cannot change. I rea d the words, 'In God We Trust,' and had to laugh. Yes, God, I get the message..

It seems that I have been finding an inordinate number of pennies in the last few months, but then, pennies are plentiful! And, God is patient.."

Life Lesson: Who or What do YOU trust in? Do you trust in God? We must remember that whether we believe it or not He is our Creator and if we accept Jesus Christ His Son as our Savior then God is not only our Creator but He is our Heavenly Father as well. And as our Heavenly Father He loves us dearly and wants to shower us with His blessings. We should all remember that it is in Him we live and breathe and have our very being. Without God and His Son Jesus and what was done on the cross at Calvary for us, we wouldn't have a hope and a future as told to us by Jeremiah (in the Bible).

Just a very wonderful story I wanted to share with you. Hope it lifted you up the way it did me.

God bless..

MJ

Getting A 21st Century Education (for FREE)

Hi everyone,

I apologize for not posting as often as I'd like but I've been superbusy (my online efforts being only a part of what takes up my weekdays and weekends - I have a full-time job during the week and spend my weekends researching material for these posts.) I thank you faithful followers for your kindness and understanding. In appreciation please feel free to fill in the form to the left of this post for your free Cash In A Flash audio.

Now on to the topic for today: Getting A 21st Century Education (for FREE)

In his free ebook "What I Didn't Learn At School But Wish I Had", Jamie McIntyre (more about him in a few), reveals such things as the 5 Major Components of a 21st century education, the 3 Pillars of the Rich, The Meaning of Money, Finding Your Primary Purpose, Designing Your Life (and why this is so important), The 6 Human Needs and so much more. But why should you listen to Jamie McIntyre?

Jamie McIntyre is an extraordinary young Australian making a big difference to the quality of other people's lives in Australia and around the world. He is a sought after Success Coach (Life Coach) and has travelled the world meeting and learning from some of the very best teachers and leaders on the planet including Anthony Robbins (Unlimited Power), General Norman Schwarzkof (Desert Storm), and Paul Zane Piltzer (Unlimited Wealth), Jay Abrahams (Fortune 500 Marketing Consultant), Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad), and many others.

He became a self made millionaire in his twenties, an entrepreneur, a sought after public speaker, and author. He is founder of 21st Century Group of Companies, including 21st Century Accounting and 21st CenturyFinance. He is also the founder of 21st Century Academy, an education organisation that has provided a 21st century education to Australians and New Zealanders, and has received a Highly Commended Award from the Australian Achiever Awards. He was several years ago nominated as a Young Australian of the Year and has been responsible foreducating over 95,000 people through his DVD courses and live seminars.

He is a leading advocate for real life education including financial literacy to be implemented into high schools nation wide as well as world wide. He believes this will give teenagers the most important skills they will need to excel in the 21st century, and improve what many say is an inadequate and flawed education system. He is also an advocate to change the bias practices of the financial planning industry, and wants to see financial planners have to produce real life investment results in their own life before being allowed to advise others in financial planning.

He is lobbying for improvements to superannuation to ensure Australians can fund themselves in retirement and is critical of the lack of transparency, competency and accountability of regulatory bodiessuch as ASIC.

So after all that do you still think you should listen to him? If so get your free copy of "What I Didn't Learn At School But Wish I Had" ebook and then let me know what you think.

God bless...

Q & A with Angie Strader from The World Needs More Happy

Hi everyone,

If you've visited my blog, A Story Writer At Heart (Among Other Things), you should have noticed that I've been having Q & A sessions with some very interesting people. Firstly, there's Mike Spillman (Future You University), who actually gave me the idea. Then there was Russell Emerson. Now I'm so proud to say that Angie Strader from The World Needs More Happy has agreed to a little Q & A session with me.

Angie Strader is the creator of The World Needs More Happy which is a place where people can come together on a global level in a positive and uplifting environment so we can begin to collectively shift the overall level of happiness in our world. To learn more about this amazing woman please visit her profile on The World Needs More Happy.

She graciously accepted the Q & A request. Here's the result:

I'm sorry this took so long, but I really did want to dedicate time to it and nor rush it. Thank you again for asking me to participate. It allowed me to dig deep and gain clarity on some things - at least as far as where I am today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring! With sincerity - I appreciate you!

1) What is your idea/your definition of success? Success is realizing your true purpose in life and living in accordance with fulfilling that purpose. Many people define success with a specific income level or by achieving fame, but those are only visible measurements of achievement and do not necessarily equate to success. Someone may feel their purpose in life is to be a silent monk where another person may feel their purpose is to be a circus clown. As long as each individual lives according to their highest calling, does the right things and makes the right choices to live in alignment with their God-given purpose, I consider them a success.

2) What are you willing to do to be a success? As I continue on my journey I will only do what I feel aligns with my values and principles and do it with utmost integrity. I will do my best to be genuine, authentic and serve others as I feel that is when I am at my best and living in accordance with my true purpose. I strive to do the right thing always, even when the right thing may be uncomfortable. I have faced some very uncomfortable situations in my life in which I would not compromise on what I believed to be right. Although it was painful to go through at the time, I will never look back with regret. I am able to be at peace with the decisions I have made in my life.

3) What are you NOT willing to do to be a success? I will not compromise my own values and belief system in an attempt to be successful. I will not jeopardize my core values or exploit others for personal gain.

4) What are some of your short-term goals? (For the sake of brevity, my answers are restricted to my professional goals)
a. To continue to build The World Needs More Happy (www.theworldneedsmorehappy.com) as an online community where people from all over the world come together to create a positive shift in the collective level of our overall happiness in the world
b. Create a Happiness Leadership learning system available online and through corporate training sessions
c. For The World Needs More Happy Friday podcast to reach and hold a position in the Top 10 self-help podcasts on iTunes
d. To be a contributing writer for a local publication within the field of positive thinking and mental well-being
e. To begin public speaking at a local level for organizations and businesses

5) What are some of your mid-term goals?
a. To author an uplifting and inspiring book and it be published by a reputable publisher
b. To do national public speaking events in conjunction with the release of my book
c. To be a contributing writer for a national publication within the field of positive thinking and mental well-being

6) What are some of your long-term goals?
a. Author several best-selling books that continue to truly uplift and inspire others
b. Travel the world creating more happiness through various projects that I haven’t even thought of yet
c. To allow opportunities to unfold and continue to make a positive difference in the world

7) What are you willing to do to achieve those goals? I feel so strongly about my calling/purpose in life that I will do everything within my power to help others achieve a higher level of happiness - just as long as I always live in accordance with my core values and do everything with the highest level of integrity.

8) What are you NOT willing to do to achieve those goals? I will not jeopardize my family or my own happiness in the process of attaining my goals.

9) What are your values/beliefs?
Beliefs: I believe that above all else I must be true to myself. I have strong convictions and I know deep down what is right and wrong. I will do everything in my power to do the right thing always. I believe in being the best person I can be so that I am honoring my family as well as myself. I believe in continuous self-development so that I am always stretching and growing towards my highest potential. I believe in servant leadership. I know that through serving and helping others I am doing my greatest good. I believe in truth and honesty. I believe in God as my higher power and through him, anything is possible. I believe in destiny and that everything happens for a reason. I also believe that no matter how bad things seem, things will get better and everything happens for a reason. I learn from each challenge and each success.
Values: I value the love I receive from my husband, my family and close friends and draw strength and inspiration from those relationships. I value my health (mental & physical) and I do daily work to be strong and healthy so I can be the best I can be. I value my freedom to choose to be and do whatever aligns with my purpose. I value my ability to be independent (as well as inter-dependent) and I am proud to be born in a country that allows me the right to choose my own path and make my dreams, goals and purpose a reality.

10) What advice would you give to someone wanting to make it as an entrepreneur, whether online or offline? If you already know what your calling or highest purpose is, then you need to believe in yourself and your higher-power source to pursue your destiny. Do your best to come up with a plan for your new venture and attain any necessary skills you need in order to move forward. You also need to know that you cannot plan for everything and there will be challenges thrown at you. You need to have the confidence in yourself and the deep conviction that what you are doing is the right thing for you and those around you and never give up.

If you don’t do not know what your calling is, you may just need to take the leap of faith and allow your destiny to unfold before you. I recently had to learn to “let go” and “let it be.” Once I did that – once I quit trying to force things and control everything, I discovered my purpose and everything has begun to fall into place according to God’s will. This was not easy to do and my own stubbornness held me back for a long time, but once I got it, my life has really blossomed.

11) Anything else you'd like to share? Thank you for your interest in what I have to say on these topics. I am truly flattered! I took these questions seriously, tried to dig deep, and through it discovered more about myself. I appreciate every opportunity I have to help others reach and strive to be reach their goals and achieve personal happiness. No matter where they are today or the challenges they face, I hope those who read this will be inspired to be the best they can be. We all have a higher purpose. Quit trying to force, manipulate, and control your destiny, as it will only delay things. Your life and your destiny have already been written, all you have to do is let go and it will be. Much happiness to all!

Angie

Goal(s) for May 2009

Hello everyone,

I'm a member of a number of online communities. One of the things I do in these communities is add value in some form (whether it's in the forums or with a blog post or a discussion or just a comment on someone's profile). As such I started sharing my goals (monthly goals) with the MorningCoach.com (MC) community in March 2009 shortly after I joined the community (in late February 2009). Since then I've been a big fan of having and following through on goals. Prior to that time I had hardly, if ever, set, much less followed through on, any goals in my life. I realize the error of my ways now and strongly urge those of you who do not have goals to start setting and following through on some goals (daily, weekly, monthly, etc). For those of you who are already in the habit of doing this I'd love to be privied to some of your goals if they're not too personal. We can help encourage each other.

So without further ado, here are a few of my goals for May 2009:

I have managed to write one fanfiction so far in April. Hopefully over this weekend I can write at least one more fanfiction and maybe tackle a christian story.

There are a few more goals that I posted in MC. I just wanted to share a few of my goals for May 2009 with my blog readers/followers. What I try to do is update my progress daily or weekly (pretty much when I have time to, which I factor in to my day as much as I can). I do this on MC so as to keep my MC friends and encouragers informed of my progress. Feel free to visit MC (and sign up if you're not a member yet) and check out the forums for my post: Goal(s) for May 2009.
